200 care packages were donated to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This donation was part of our GiveAFriend initiative that brings stuffed animal care packages to those who could use a little love.
As a pediatric bridge hospital, Ranken Jordan helps kids from birth to 21 who are well enough to leave a traditional hospital but still need help before they go home. Located in the heart of the Midwest, they specialize in caring for children and families with the most complex conditions, illnesses and injuries and bridge the gap between hospital and home. Their state-of-the-art facility has 60 inpatient beds and 140,000 sq. ft. where children can play. This includes 5,700 sq. ft of outdoor adaptive sports fields. Their kiddos spend 70% of their waking hours outside of their room because they know that playtime is natural for kids and promotes healing.
