This plush pup is based on a facility dog, Thor, who currently works at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO to help hospitalized children meet their individual medical goals.

Thor is a fully-fledged member of the Child Life team, providing canine-assisted interventions alongside a handler five days a week.

Thor has provided hundreds of pediatric patients with the strength and courage to do the im-paw-sible. Because of this, our plush comes with a special cape! You can learn more about his work here.

Therapy dog Thor is a superhero!

Gave to my daughter with a disability who would love a live emotional support dog! This is a fun substitute until we can make her dream happen. He is cuddly and does not poop—perfect for providing that unconditional love we can all use!
