SendAFriend has selected Arkansas Children’s Hospital to receive the company’s March 2021 donation of 10% of total sales, an amount totalling $35,538.37. Arkansas Children’s was suggested for the donation by one of SendAFriend’s Instagram followers and was selected because it is the only hospital system dedicated exclusively to improving the health of children in Arkansas.

SendAFriend is an ecommerce company that helps customers send personalized stuffed animal care packages to their loved ones and donates 10% of sales every month to different children’s hospitals in America. The company has donated over $635,000 since its launch in 2018.

“SendAFriend customers continue to amaze everyone with their generosity and love,” says Tyler Macke, the 21-year old founder and CEO of SendAFriend. “Our company’s success is proof that Americans want to encourage one another even during these trying times.”

In addition to the SendAFriend promise to donate 10% of revenue to children’s hospitals each month, SendAFriend has organized a care package sponsorship program called GiveAFriend that allows customers to send gifts and personalized notes to children in hospitals.

To date, the GiveAFriend initiative has delivered over 7,500 care packages to children in hospitals across the Midwest. Last month alone saw SendAFriend donate a total of 1,750 GiveAFriend care packages to pediatric patients in Missouri.

"Arkansas Children's is a non-profit health care system, serving the over 710,000 children that live, learn and play in Arkansas,” said Rhonda McBain, Senior Development Officer and Program Director for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at Arkansas Children's Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of donors like SendAFriend, we can continue to achieve our mission to champion children by making them better today and healthier tomorrow."
