YWCA Oklahoma City offers emergency crisis-intervention services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. YWCA OKC works to lay the foundation for survivors to rebuild lives free from shame, blame, and future violence.
As clients work to disengage from a violent home, they often encounter social and societal barriers that keep them from successfully rebuilding their lives. Children are in and out of the shelter all the time, and greatly appreciate receiving stuffed animal friends who provide a bit of comfort in uncertain times. A donation of 20 GiveAFriend care packages was delivery to YWCA.
