Putting smiles on our faces as soon as we visited their site, The Woodlands is a recipient of our International Day of Happiness Donation. Enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses, The Woodlands offers a barrier-free environment, encouraging everyone to explore new levels of independence. Their private wooded property features a creative arts lab, camping area, adapted zip line and archery range, and so much more!
With programs designed to challenge comfort zones, overcome barriers, and forge new friendships, no one will be left sitting on the sidelines. Differences do not equal limitations and all attendees are encouraged to discover the world of possibilities around them.
Our donation of $5,000 will help support updates needed for camp and provide many fun and safe opportunities for campers.
