50 care packages were donated to Saint Francis Healthcare System Foundation in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This donation was part of our GiveAFriend initiative that brings stuffed animal care packages to those who could use a little love.
Saint Francis Healthcare System offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to more than 715,000 people in southeast Missouri and in a five-state region through Saint Francis Medical Center, a 306-bed nonprofit tertiary care institution, and Saint Francis Health Development Services Corporation, a for-profit healthcare services company.
These care packages were handed out to kids receiving backpacks filled with food and supplies for the upcoming school year. We hear that the stuffed animals were very well received and loved by the kids (even more than the food).
