We had the honor of delivering 100 GiveAFriend care packages to Day 1 Bags, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting foster youth. These fluffy friends are for the high school seniors they serve. Overcoming so much along the way, graduation is a huge accomplishment, so we're sending them off with a hug!
On a mission to provide new duffle bags and backpacks to foster youth instead of trash bags, Day 1 Bags does so much more than offer a piece of luggage to the youth they serve. One foster child shared, "Here is the truth about the meaning behind my bag: sometimes going to unfamiliar places throughout the day, my bag is where I can take a piece of home with me wherever I go. -It makes me feel like I am prepared for anything."
