Helena: the emotional support cow

I sent Helena the highland cow to my bestie. She lives across the country and has been in a very long & slow recovery from a terrible auto accident. Being months deep into the land of PT & RICE, I wanted to send her a little something to brighten her mood & have it last longer than flowers. Helena is PERFECT! Not only did my friend love it, but her 4 year old daughter makes sure it comes with them every to every Dr appt. My friend sent me this picture earlier this week, on a tough night, saying that having it makes her feel like I'm sending a hug.

Childhood Pet Memento

Growing up, my dad had several highland cows as pets. They were the sweetest, fluffiest things and we’d have calves ever season.
