When a child is removed from their home for safety, the hours that follow can be overwhelming and scary. Instead of waiting in an office with nothing familiar to hold onto, Isaiah 117 House offers a warm, comforting place to land. Children are welcomed with clean clothes, caring volunteers, and a safe space to rest while staff work to find the right placement.
Just in time for the holidays, we delivered 100 GiveAFriend care packages to help fill that space with even more comfort. Here's what the Isaiah 117 House team had to say about this special delivery:
