Brent’s Place is a long-term home away from home for children and families with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at local hospitals.
An organization that started with just one room 25 years ago now offers multiple locations and many long-term care apartments for the families they serve. There is no limit to the length of time a family can stay. The support does not stop there. Families are invited to participate in activities, meals are provided throughout each week, and a free boutique is offered for holiday shopping.
Brent’s Place offers a clean and safe environment for those undergoing treatment and their families, providing a sense of normalcy and comfort during these most challenging times. In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, SendAFriend has donated $2,500 from the Spread the Love Fund.
