The Ali Forney Center was founded in 2002 in response to the lack of safe and culturally competent shelters for LGBTQ+ youth in NYC. Their work not only meets basic needs but also provides young people with support services and the tools they need to transform their lives. Services include education and career counseling, independent living skills, health, and mental health services, in addition to individualized care through our case managers and life coaches (volunteer mentors) who work with youth on their goal of living independently.
We are proud of our continued support of The Ali Forney Center, and this $2,500 donation that will provide 1,000 meals for the youth they serve.
