Recently, 20 GiveAFriend care packages were sent to our friends at the Choctaw Police Department, and Officer O’Daniel shared the sweetest update with us.
During a tough call, he gifted one of our stuffed friends — Tucker the Turtle — to a little girl who was having a really hard day. To make a better connection, Officer O’Daniel told her his real name. And wouldn’t you know it… Tucker quickly became 'Travis the Turtle'💚🐢
Now, Travis the Turtle goes everywhere with her — even to zoo animal day at school! What a great reminder that a fluffy friend can be so comforting in times of fear and uncertainty.
