Zoey's Place provides a safe, supportive environment for children who have experienced abuse or trauma. Their mission is to ensure every child’s voice is heard and to help them begin the path toward healing.
One of the small but meaningful ways we do this is by giving each child who comes in for a forensic interview a stuffed animal to take home, a comforting reminder of their strength and bravery. These stuffed animals often become a symbol of courage during an incredibly difficult time in their young lives.
